RELEASE
Designed for a non-profit stewardship campaign, the dove is symbolic of the Spirit-filled church being "released" out into the world to fulfill her biblical mandate as a witness to the ends of the earth. "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." -Acts 1:8.

The imagery of a Civil War era scouting party leading the way with confidence was a great fit for the strategic consulting services provided by the client.

 

Birth Matters

BIRTH MATTERS
A non-traditional childbirth education center offering childbirth preparation and newborn care classes. The logo design is an organic, yet modern in its style. The emphasis of the design is on conveying the importance of both "pre" and "post" birth education.

 

Maranatha Brand

MARANATHA BRAND
Maranatha is a combination of the Aramaic words “maran” and “atha”. Maranatha means "Our Lord is coming/has come". The design depicts the returning Christ-King. The emphasis is on the “M”, which not only stands for Maranatha, but also represents Christ’s physical body in which he will one day return. The “M” also represents clothing, which is the main product of the organization.

 
Heat Power Engineering

HEAT POWER ENGINEERING
The client needed a complete overhaul of their existing/outdated logo. The new design is much cleaner and a better representation of the industrial water treatment services that the client provides. Logo, stationery suite, direct-mail postcards, and a new website were all created.

 

Found

FOUND
This design is rooted in the parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32. The text says that the younger son “hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. When he came to his senses, he said... I will set out and go back to my father... So he got up and went to his father." The pig in the logo is symbolic of the son being “found” by God. The style is edgy, cut & paste, and rough. The pig lends itself well to being used as a branding icon.

 

Vessel

VESSEL
The inspiration behind Vessel is found in 2 Timothy 2:21 where it reads "Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work." The Vessel logo is for a female clothing line, so the design is feminine, young, and classy. The tagline for Vessel is "To be used by God." Multiple designs were created for printing on apparel.

 

Tim Baron Illustration

TIM BARON ILLUSTRATION
Tim Baron is a freelance Christian illustrator specializing in children’s books, science fiction, theology, comic book art, and the vividly imaginative. Tim's philosophy of art is best summarized by a statement made by the late Francis Schaeffer, who said, "The Christian is the one whose imagination should fly beyond the stars." Hence, the rocket man icon.

 

Fireside Cafe

FIRESIDE CAFÉ
The identity development for Fireside Café involved coming up with a warm, bold, and clean style for a full-service café located inside of the Grace Gathering main lobby area. The 2-color final logo translated well into apparel graphics, signage, and other printed applications.

 
Homeless J

HOMELESS J
This icon was designed for a Christian rock band in need of a graphic that would succinctly capture the essence of their name. What could be more fitting than a "homeless j", for Homeless J?

Several Identity concepts were presented for a Tyson Chicken marketing campaign during college basketball season. This is one of them.

 
Monster Fun Box


MONSTER FUN BOX
Monster Fun Box is an experimental identity project that plays on the skateboarding term "funbox" (a standard element in any worthwhile skate park). Monster Fun Box features the illustrative genius of Tim Baron and offers free goodies for the whole family at www.id-33.com/monsterfunbox.
